Having already gained a lot of support from a variety of outlets and other artists, Loony has dropped her much-hyped new single, ‘No!’. The accompaniment is about as laid back and relaxed as music can possibly be, with finger snaps and delicate, twinkling keyboard lines adding a sense of nostalgia to the production. Loony’s voice is what really explains why she is regarded so highly in the industry at the moment; it weaves around the chords, leaping up to high notes like it’s nothing and whooshing in and out of dynamic crescendos.
